Believe in the God Who Is Alive and Still at Work Today

The Bible is filled with countless miraculous works of God. For example, the parting of the Red Sea through Moses (Exodus 14), Elijah praying for rain during a drought (1 Kings 18), and Jesus feeding more than 5,000 people with just five loaves and two fish (Matthew 14)—all of these are extraordinary events recorded in Scripture.

However, if we think of these miracles as things that only happened in a special age long ago, we may miss out on the great blessings God wants to give us today. That’s because the God of the Bible is alive and still working in our lives today.

The wonderful miracles that Jesus performed aren’t just stories of the past—they are signs of what He desires to do in your life right now. When the conviction that God is alive and active today grows strong in your heart—when you truly believe this—then no matter what your current situation is, you can live with hope and expectation for His wonderful plans in your future.

Miracles aren’t just reserved for some distant future. They might happen to you today. That’s why we can live each day with expectation. This is faith—trusting and believing—and if we continue to hold onto that belief, we can walk with hope without falling into despair, no matter what we face.

Our faith is not only based on the great works God did in the past, but also on the living God who is still working today. And when we stand on that faith, you too will experience His miracles. You will see healing in sickness, hope in the midst of despair, and new paths opened where there seemed to be no way. One by one, God’s wonderful works will unfold in your life.

Hebrews 13:8

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
