Living by God’s Voice

In life, we hear many voices—family, friends, societal expectations, and our own past experiences. While these can offer helpful advice and insights, we must never forget one crucial truth: people are not God.

Everyone comes from a different background with unique experiences, and no one can fully understand everything about you. They do not truly know the environment you grew up in, the dreams you carry, the pain you’ve endured, or the hopes you hold. Only the One who created you—God—knows you entirely and can lead you faithfully.

God’s work is surely moving forward. However, when we give too much weight to human opinions, we may lose sight of God’s guidance and end up limiting His work in our lives.

Within you lies the strength and potential that God has placed. These gifts can only be fully realized when you walk in step with Him. That is why it is essential to first and foremost listen to God’s voice.

The Bible says, “My sheep listen to my voice.” When you listen for God’s voice and follow His guidance, your life becomes truly directed by Him and aligned with His perfect plan.

In times of uncertainty or when faced with difficult decisions, be still and seek God in prayer. He will surely show you the best way forward. It’s not that we must ignore every human voice, but we must remember: the One who knows the path we should take better than anyone is our Creator.

Bible Verse: John 10:27

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
